I just want to say how incredibly thankful I am to (first and foremost) my audience, my incredible management at @thisisamplify and @tiktok_australia for the opportunities I have been presented over the years. I started out as a creator on Tik Tok over 6 years ago and it’s been a slow and steady growth and a WILD ride! From attending Vidcon in the US, presenting at VIDCON in Australia to this year being invited to attend an event with the amazing women in Federal Parliament… I have to pinch myself with any and every opportunity. I held off on attending any creator events the past year or so because my Anxiety was getting the better of me, but I am so glad I took the trip to Sydney last week! Thank you, to every single one of you who watch my content- I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know! The reason I am where I am in my career, is because of you!

Wow, this is it—my last day at JB Hi-Fi. It feels surreal. I started on October 25th, 2012. Can you believe it’s been 11 years, 9 months, and 8 days? That’s 4,289 days, 102,936 hours, 6,176,160 minutes, and a mind-blowing 370,569,600 seconds of memories and experiences.

I kicked things off at the Westfield Parramatta store, spending 4 amazing years there. Then I moved to Merrylands for another 6 years. That was a wild ride—switching from Software to Merch Excellence, getting promoted to Counter Specialist, and finally getting that manager’s pin. 🎉

On my 29th birthday, September 6th, 2022, I started at Homebush. Moving into the admin role here was like flying by the seat of my pants with no training. But I came out on top and found my feet really quickly.

And hey, some of you know me as the “mum” or the “woo-woo auntie” of the store. Whether I was dishing out advice, lending an ear, or running around like a chicken without a head, I’ve loved every bit of it. Who would’ve thought my office would turn into a therapy zone or that my favourite time of the day was morning meetings for a game of Beopardy?

Leaving is tough and a bit heartbreaking. The memories, challenges, and wins—we’ve shared so much. But I’m also super excited for what’s next. Moving on to be an SLSO feels like the right next step.

I never got a proper last day at my first two stores, but I’m so happy to finally have one here at Homebush. You’re the coworkers who made me feel like I belonged. Thank you all for the laughs, support, and countless good times. You’ve made my time here unforgettable. Even though I’m leaving, I’ll carry the spirit of JB Hi-Fi with me wherever I go. You’re not just coworkers—you’re family.
