#sundayfunday☀️# Since 2000 a reinterpretation of the old Soviet "sunray" camouflage pattern has seen limited use by Armed Forces personnel, mostly in reconnaissance or special operations roles. The pattern is now generally called Берёзка (Berezhka) (birch) or Серебряный лист (serebryanyi list)(silver leaf), although some versions (with more gold coloration) are referred to as Золотой Желтый лист (golden yellow leaf). All versions appear to be based on the original Soviet era design. The numerous color variations have been produced from a variety of companies, mostly marketed by commercial suppliers. The Kadyrovites (Chechen Rosgvardia / Akhmat Special Forces) are famous for being gear enthusiasts who use a massive variety of commercial and specialized camouflages. While they heavily favor modern patterns like Multicam and ATACS-FG, they frequently use commercial modifications of the yellow leaf pattern

Took a Page out of my dad's kit book and came to flecktarn. THANKS DAD @volkami (variations of Flecktarn are used by the Russian military, primarily by specialized and elite units. While the standard-issue camouflage for the main Russian ground forces is EMR (Digital Flora), Russian reconnaissance, airborne units (VDV), and special operations forces (Spetsnaz) frequently utilize distinct Russian-made adaptions of the German dot pattern.#BalkarAroundtheCorner# Also Welcome home seaman 🚢 @jake50gi good to see you kid 🇺🇸

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT 📸

I've been away from the field more than I'd like these past couple of weeks thanks to my other job, and I won't lie... I miss being out there with everyone.

The good news is I haven't stopped working. Behind the scenes I've been putting time into something I'm really excited about, and I can't wait to share more when it's ready.

In the meantime, I still want to keep showcasing this amazing community.

📸 Got a great photo? 🎥 Hit a crazy play? 📹 Have GoPro, phone, or helmet-cam footage?

Send it my way! I want to feature more of your moments in Field Submissions and on this page so everyone gets a chance to be in the spotlight.

Thanks for sticking with me. I'll be back on the field soon enough. 👊

🚧 UNDER CONSTRUCTION 🚧

Things have been a little quiet around here...

Not because we've stopped.

Because we've been building.

A new project has been taking up a lot of my time lately, and I think it's going to be worth the wait. That's all I can say... for now. 👀

In the meantime, Field Submissions isn't going anywhere.

🎥 Have GoPro, helmet cam, or phone footage from your games?

Send it in! Your gameplay could be featured in an upcoming episode of Field Submissions.

Follow the page so you don't miss the announcement. Trust me—you'll want to be here when we finally reveal it.

Sometimes the best attack... is the one nobody sees coming. 🌲

This week's Field Submissions features Ben and his squad setting up an incredible ambush deep in the woods. Patience, teamwork, and perfect timing.

This episode was submitted by one of our own—and that's exactly what I want Field Submissions to become.

🎥 Have gameplay from your GoPro or phone? Send it to me! Your footage could be featured in a future episode.

Who's your squad's best ambush player?

Leaf suits are heavily used by both Ukrainian and Russian forces, primarily by snipers, scouts, and infantry to break up human silhouettes against foliage. Because modern combat relies heavily on drones, forces have increasingly upgraded to specialized suits built with synthetic materials and heat-mitigating layers to avoid visual and thermal detection#MOM I THINK THE TREE IS TALKING#BOUNDING#CAN YOU EVEN SEE ME🌳 👀#
