I joined over members of #shokzsquaduk for an afternoon of plogging in Regent's Park, along the Grand Union Canal and Primrose Hill. Armed with grabbers, plastic bags and and wearing rubber gloves we went out looking for rubbish. .
.
Plogging is a Scandanavian concept where we pick up litter while jogging. It wasn't my first time doing an organised litter pick up but it was my first time plogging. It definitely won't be my last. I am looking forward to bringing this plogging to the streets of @brentcouncil soon with @runsmartcrew
.
.
Shout out to the team for making the day fun and big up to @benparkes for a great warm up and navigating our way. Despite that part of town being pretty clean we all managed to fill our bags. .

If you've tried plogging let me know how it was for you.

#throwbackthursday to Geneva Marathon 2016, the last time ever I beat my friend @benparkes before he went running crazy 😜(I followed him on the bike a year later to an amazing 2:36...!!!) And solid performance by @murphyalec ! It was an incredibly hot day and I walked the last km with my daughter in my arms 🤗
When will I run a marathon again? 🤔 First lets get this knee sorted out 👍💪

Awesome day yesterday cheering @benparkes at the Abingdon Marathon who cracked out another amazing performance (2:53!) after a summer of being injured. The comeback continues!🤩🙌 Totally buzzing for my next race now which is a little half marathon in Bury St Edmunds this weekend with @callyplace 😄🤜🤛

Let us tell it from the start line.

Make it there is an achievement in itself. Make it better with smoke, power, smiles and friendship.

Whatever the time on the clock at the end of that race, make sure it's a happy one. Proud of our community pulling some magical PBs out of the hat. Joined by our international #adidasrunners family.

I took the foot off the gas to save the lungs. There'll be many more opportunities to shine and sometimes your personal best is what happens outside of the race course. I may have lost my voice entirely today 🤧😆😶 But so glad I could catch up with so many lovely people over the weekend. You rock. And have been dearly missed over summer.

Thanks to @adidasuk @the_midnight_club @cityrunsldn and our team – tirelessly awesome work. Bring on the next.
