I am proud to announce my short documentary “THE BALTIMORE STREETCAR MUSEUM” will be screening at New/Next Film Festival @newnextfilmfest in Baltimore this October.

This is a demo of a larger documentary project examining American history and geography through the perspective of railroad preservation. Trains were an epic invention without which the United States would never have become what it is today.

Working out of a minivan, we shot our first segment at the New Hope Valley Railway near Raleigh, NC and on the road back to New York, AC, Cole, and I stopped in Baltimore with our last roll of 16mm film to shoot this lovely preservation of Baltimore’s incredible, yet largely forgotten, streetcar network.

Thank you to Mas, Ben, and Angelena for supporting me in this pursuit, to Cole and AC for run and gunning it, to my sister Dusti and brother-in-law Jonathan for hosting us in NC, and of course to the fine folks at the Baltimore Streetcar Museum for allowing us to capture their beautiful museum.
