According to @smumustangson3 there is a chance SMU will add NCAA Division I Lacrosse

Recently SMU AD Damon Evans said “Lacrosse, we have a facility over there already. There [would] need to be some things done, so you just keep your eyes open and look at things, but there’s some chatter out there.”

Lacrosse Unlimited included UCLA, LSU, and Miami in their new NCAA Lacrosse Crews release, three schools that only have club teams for both men and women. They are legally allowed to make the merch by purchasing the licensing rights from the schools.

All six teams are self funded and partially rely on merch sales of their own to support their teams. They don’t receive any profits from the Lacrosse Unlimited sales and also are limited by their schools on the merch they can make.

What are your thoughts on the situation?
