Apparently, singing about my dead mother in front of an audience is my idea of a fun Monday night. 😂💀

I’ve caught the performing bug, and I have absolutely no intention of finding a cure! 🎭🎤✨

Next up: Dead Mom from Beetlejuice: The Musical at Anything Goes, presented by John Milligan & Big Gay Piano Bar!

Equal parts excited, terrified and ready to embrace the theatrical chaos!

📅 Monday 19 October
📍 Ginger’s, Oxford Hotel
🚪 Doors 6pm | Show 7pm

See you in the Netherworld! 🖤✨IT’S SHOWTIME!” 💚💜🪲

Calling musical theatre lovers: West End Wednesday (happening this Wednesday) is a themed community showcase events by pianist and professional musician @johnmilliganmusic and @gaypianobar and this one is celebrating British musicals! 🤗

Think around 20 local singers – all pre-selected by video audition – dazzling the audience with their incredible vocals. Plus me – the light relief! 🤣

I’m thrilled to be performing 2 songs in this – both proper singalong/clapalong numbers!

Some of my pals, all super talented, are also on the bill (tagged) 👏

As a Brit and someone who used to live in the west end, I’ve been manifesting this and it’s finally happening!

✨ Come and see some of Sydney’s untapped musical theatre talent.

Godspell
🎭: @utsbackstage

-

in 2023, i watched @theatrespace's cantonese production of godspell. in 2026, i md'ed and played jesus in @utsbackstage's production of godspell.

from getting offered md 5 weeks into rehearsals, to having 2 days to learn jesus' track while ill and bumping in, this was one of the most memorable shows i've been in.

despite of, or rather, because of the chaos, i've made so many good friends, and i'll always cherish the experience.
