The other high of comp!
I been chasing down the big 200kg for almost 1.5 years now. With the help of @benroberts_purpose we got the job done without a problem, I believed in the programming the peak was perfect the attempts were on point and the results were done weeks before physically doing them. This is how programming and coaching is supposed to to be, you get the right ingredients, exercises, loads, when and where and how much to push loads. you follow as perceived you take out any variables or guess work and go in with 100% faith and confidence and that’s exactly what we did. Stoked and expected🤝

STREETLIFTING NATIONALS RECAP 👇

MUSCLE UP: 15kg🟢 17.5kg🟢 21.5kg🟢 +1.5kg PR NR
CHIN UP: 60kg🟢 67.5kg🟢 70kg🟢 -2.5kgPR
DIP: 122.5kg🟢 130kg🔴 -13.75kgPR
SQUAT: 180kg🟢 190kg🟢 200kg🟢 +5kgPR
TOTAL= 414kg -4.75kgPR

I Had wins and looses at the aus pro finals, the highs I hit an all time PR muscle up 21.5kg and also a new national record! I was very happy with this and always knew it was very possible to achieve. I also hit 200kg squat something I have dreamed about and wanted for almost 2 years! The 70kg chin was very meh I have hit this many many times both in and out of comp I was nether happy or disappointed here. My dip was absolutely disappointing this dip result was the better half of 20kg less then what I was expecting to put up but due to a few different variables it just wants there on the day in-fact I knew it wasn’t there warming up with as little as 100kg. My total and loss by 1kg was also very disappointing I knew I had more then enough to absolutely wipe the floor with a strong total but unfortunately due to my dip result it cost me the W.

I thought this year my have been my last but I honestly had the most fun I think I have ever had competing before and something inside knows I can’t go out without showcasing the true dip and total potential I know I have to offer.

Huge shout of to @streetliftingaustralia and all the amazing people that make this shit happen!

Also @unbound.au for making sure they capture all the highlights and squat pics for the day

And last but definitely not least my coaches @drnickraymond and @benroberts_purpose from @adventurereadycoaching we have more to achieve in this sport!

Life has felt like a constant balancing act lately.

As a full-time teacher, I pour so much of myself into my students every day. Then, outside of work, it’s straight into training four days a week, preparing for upcoming powerlifting competitions, chasing new goals, and trying to become stronger than I was yesterday.

Some days, I honestly feel like I’m chasing two completely different finish lines. The mental and physical fatigue is real, and when you’re constantly giving your energy to others and to your training, self-doubt has a way of creeping in. I’ve definitely had moments where I’ve questioned why I’m doing it all.

But maybe that’s exactly what this season of life is teaching me.

I’m learning that progress isn’t just about the numbers on the barbell or the achievements at work. It’s also about looking after myself, setting boundaries, and giving myself permission to put my own wellbeing first. Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential if I want to keep showing up as the best version of myself. I’m at a crossroads professionally, physically, and mentally, but instead of seeing it as uncertainty, I’m choosing to see it as an opportunity. An opportunity to grow, to realign with what matters most, and to continue building strength—not just in the gym, but in every area of my life. The road to the platform isn’t just about lifting heavier weights. It’s about becoming stronger, more resilient, and more intentional every single day. Here’s to trusting the process, celebrating the small wins, and remembering that looking after yourself is just as important as chasing your goals. 💪❤️ setting up our home gym has been a dream come true- being the first step of showing up for myself- my space to focus on only me. Im looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring in lifting and career 🤗 and loving the support of friends, family and my brilliant coach Ben Roberts who I consider my amazing confidante and mentor 🤩
