Habibi, come to Garbicz ✨🪩🫶🏼🗑️

A magical lakeside paradise in Poland wasn’t really in my summer plans but you know I love a plot twist. So much awe takes place on airplane mode and so much wonder awaits when you show up and make an attempt to toggle off your internal switches for expectations and assumptions too.

Turns out what awaited me aside Lake Garbicz — yes, a real place! — was a forest fairy grown up wonderland with funky stages, an idyllic lake, overflowing yoga classes, playful dance floors, and friends from all over the world — Bali, Brooklyn, Poland and beyond! — that I somehow found in crowds of thousands, despite no attempts to formally locate each other.

As a retreat company founder a lot of what I do that looks like play is actually deeply fulfilling but challenging work. Festivals are the one time of the year I go offline and fully follow my own whims and that makes them my own little personal retreat. So grateful I snuck this one in.

One of my favorite rabbit holes to randomly fall down yet.

garbicz, baby, what a timeeee! no phones, just film 🎥 what an unreal space to be silly and fruity have so much of myself be so well received. thankful for 5 days of magic🤍 thank you to the artists for their music and to this sacred land for holding space for us all. and thank you to those who captured these moments, this is literally all i have from this time. what beautiful friends, what beautiful energy. I’ll be back🫧✨🩵
