Excellent(!) We won a thing ! Our rebrand for Airband Community Internet won an award. A Creative Circle Bronze 🥉 for 'Best Branding Refresh' of the year. TV an n' all 🤘 A strategy lead project. David vs the Goliaths. How a small brand successfully took on some very big brands, by sticking to what it believes in, and having the courage to promise something better. Project of the year for me. Certainly my first award for a rebrand 🤘 Airband, broadband just got good.

***Brand Launch*** It’s safe to say the last couple of months of keeping this on the DL was tough. (I’m too hype for keeping things quiet) I’ve shared bits of bobs with a few people for reactions and input. Thank your for your support on this 👊🏻🙏🏻♥️ The bulk of the work and heavy lifting goes to @benrpotts the talented designer I’ve worked with! He’s Attentive, responsive and professional but kept it real 100% thank you brother 👊🏻 Let’s talk about the design. Read through and Swipe ➡️ to see how we got to final concept. Slide #1 is the animation where you can see my final concept, I wanted bold, urban freehand illustrated art style and Ben delivered on this. It’s inspired from food icons and influences from my life growing up and as and adult learning about food along with establishing my own style. It’s retro with a modern flare and I feel like it’s a solid brand that I can have scale for the future! We didn’t get here without a clash of some other design concepts. Swipe right to see Slide #2 this was the start of something exciting! He hit me with this slide on a zoom meeting and I was GASSED! Love the colour, the illustration of myself and I felt confident. Then he went on to show me an alternative concept.. see slide three. Slide #3 this was an interesting one, I loved the colour, the est 2019 concept. We then come to the agreement to merge the designs and colour pallet. Not a common move in the design world but Ben like myself likes to challenge Status quo, and we did just that! see slide 4. Slide #4 the big movement into the final concept was the colours being combined together. It clicked, it popped and for me, it banged! I loved the red coral and the turquoiseblue against each other. Few more tweaks of the face and shading but I was sold! I immediately wanted to see it in action against some garmes. See slide 5. Slide #5 the merch concept, I love how my logos pops off the clothes makes them look official, badges, stickers, aprons and other products will be available soon. Watch this space!
