I was here but now I’m gone!

Saying goodbye has never been harder, thank you to everyone who made camp so special to me during my time here, these have been the best summers of my life where I’ve met some of my best friends

Thanks to everyone, especially the library director Evelyn, at the Crystal Falls Library in Crystal Falls, MI. While it is true we did not see the humongous fungus of the area, we were warmly welcomed by all we met. We really enjoyed presenting some local stories of the area from our book, “Irish Immigrants in Michigan: A History in Stories”. So many kind folks made our stay memorable-Evelyn, the Friends of the Library who brought delicious refreshments for our talk, local shop owners, Doris at the Bigfoot Hideaway, and all of the others. We hope to make a return visit! Please support local libraries. #crystalfallslibrary

We were delighted to step into the Ben Franklin store in Crystal Falls, MI where we had a great time browsing and chatting with the owner. Like every other Ben Franklin store we have been lucky enough to visit, this store contains the needful, the winsome and the wantsome! We are grateful that our book, “Irish Immigrants in Michigan: A History in Stories” is now nestled happily among the Michigan books on display for sale. Thank-you very much. Please support local shops.
