Michigan sectional! A huge contrast from a year ago, and a giant step in the right direction. And the best part? I left a TON on the table.

I took 9th in carry optics on what felt like a pretty sluggish performance. Time to get back to work and go grab some more progress.

The practiscore page is live with match details! We'll do a full video announcement closer to registration opening on 12/1. Mark your calendars!

The timeline for match rollout has been accelerated due to the MASSIVE response we're getting from sponsors. Make sure to thank them! In this case we really couldn't do the match without them.

Steel got me here and led to a standing reload, which prompted a good ole @deltamikememes swear jar submission.

Remembered the safety, flubbed the reload. This was about the point I started feeling more comfortable with this thing.

Second stage with the LO setup. Did y'all know these things have safeties you actually need to use and disengage? Mind blowing.

Has a @cheelycustomgunworks grip put on the ole @staccato2011 P and figured I'd run it through a match. Thing performs and the big magwell makes me understand LO. I probably should of dryfired this thing a few times though.

A ripping fun stage from the match at @ann_arbor_arms.

I watched a few different plans on this stage, the matches here keep getting better each match.

Shot with a great squad this weekend with people from all over the country, which included a Grand Master and a couple Master Shooters. So I was really able to watch and learn from them, and bounce my strategy ideas off them.

In my first 3 years of pistol competitions, my main focus has been @GSSF.pro matches, but next year it will be Level II & III @theUSPSA matches. The biggest thing I’ve been trying to get better at is moving my feet through the stages faster, because in GSSF and Steel you just stand there. There is a huge difference between being fast and accurate standing still, versus running around. It has definitely been a process for me, but I have been improving and my scores reflect that.

For the USPSA Area 5 Championships, I finished 2nd/16 in Carry Optics (C) and 102/150 overall in CO. Compared to my previous results, this is a huge improvement.

I can't wait to shoot enough local matches to get a classification in Limited Optics and start competing with my @SDS_Arms @MilArmamentCorp 2011s at majors.
