Pfeifferhorn Peak Trail Run—Friday, August 9th, 2024
•
This is maybe my most favorite trail I have hit in the past two years 🤩 here is why ⬇️
•
The trail is gorgeous 🥹 it is almost always shaded until you get to the ridge-line and Red Pine Lake is absolutely stunning 😍 in fact—if all you travel on this trail is to Red Pine Lake and sit on its banks for some peace and solitude with your snacks your trip will be well worth it☝🏼
•
The elevation gain over distance is perfect—if you’re a trail runner you can count on being able to run/jog nearly the entire way until you get to the rock scrambles 🏃🏽‍♂️
•
Shout out to @benson_shaw1 who I met on the trail 🤝🏼 thanks for the good quick conversation—it’s amazing how kind, friendly, and supportive the hiking/trail-running culture is 🤜🏼🤛🏼 gotta love it 😊
•
Thanks again to @timpanogoshiking for suggesting this one as part of your 10+ peak hiking challenge 🙏🏼 definitely one of my new favorites 🏔️ 🥾
