Story time:    Finally posting this one!   I completely lost the footage I had shot myself during this project and only just found everything back on my old phone. So yes… this post is VERY overdue 😂    But honestly, going through these clips and pictures again brought me back to a certain time and some really good memories. Good energy, good people and such a fun project to be part of. I’m really grateful I got to experience this with such a great team. So many laughs, good moments and memories, both on and off set.    This was actually the last job I did in 2024 before I decided to take a serious step back from life. The past two years have been a very different chapter for me.    A lot happened. I was diagnosed for depression and ADHD, had to deal with losing loved ones and financial struggles, and there were also some difficult moments with my dad and his health and everything happening around my parents. On top of that, I struggled a lot with overthinking, being in my head, questioning myself and just trying to understand what the hell was going on inside of me.    At some point, everything in me was basically saying:   Jeremy, you really need to go inward now.   So I did.    I consciously stepped away from constantly doing, creating, working and saying yes to every opportunity. I took a step back from people, scenes, projects and jobs because I knew I needed the space to actually deal with myself instead of distracting myself with everything around me.    I started actively working on my healing. Therapy, conversations, reflection, facing things I had pushed away for a long time and learning to understand myself on a much deeper level.    And honestly… it hasn’t always been pretty. Still isn’t but hey guess that’s life right? 😂    There were moments where I didn’t recognize myself. Moments where I felt stuck, disconnected and unsure of where I was going. But I’m grateful I allowed myself to go through it instead of constantly trying to run from it.  You can read further in the next swipe 👉 I’m still healing. I’m still learning. Trailer 🎞️📽️ Acts of Kindness (2025) marks a remarkable collaboration between director Ben Strebel and actor Sam Spruell. This 14-minute short film challenges narrative conventions by portraying a confrontation charged with psychological tension and power struggles.
