#weremember

As always I’m late with everything, but as 2025 is amongst other things the year I got my ADHD diagnosis I think it’s all within the theme 🦚

I was resistant to put this year into a few pictures and videos as it was so much more. It was the year I felt hope for a life full of peace and balance for the first time maybe ever. It was the year I felt the beginning of getting a hold of dealing with my depression. A year when I had not moments, but days or weeks of pure creativity for the first time since my burn out and a year in which I felt my colours coming back to me.

These are just a few moments of my work from this year that stop me in my steps to feel grateful and honoured and smile 🥹

1. P P A - I’M STILL NOT SURE HOW TO PROCESS THIS 🫠

2. A concert in Arsenał where I not only got to play with the amazing @bentekahan , but got to rearrange one of my favourite unreleased songs for a string quintet

3. Our baby saw the light of day, releasing our album with some of my favourite people on this planet @mor.the.band @mariedekoning_music @jamesradejong

4. I got to graduate from Masters of Music and with that start the process of building my new project you’ll get to see very very soon

5. And of course ‘What the world needs now’ from @corrievanbins . A touchingly beautiful project filled with freedom and hope with very very touching and beautiful people 🫠🙈

🎶 Tomorrow, Thursday April 24, the Maisel Synagogue in Prague will host an extraordinary concert by Norwegian singer Bente Kahan, who resides in Poland. This musical event is held to commemorate 🕯️ Yom HaShoah – Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day, and the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
🎤 During the evening, Bente Kahan will present Yiddish songs that reflect the rich musical heritage of pre-war Jewish communities. 🎻 She will be accompanied by Adam Skrzypek (double bass) and Mateusz Rybicki (bass clarinet).
🎫 The concert is organized by the Jewish Museum in Prague, with the financial support of DAP. a.s., in cooperation with the Norwegian Embassy in Prague 🇳🇴 and the Polish Institute in Prague 🇵🇱.

Today is International Holocaust day, but the wonderful Bente Kahan dedicates every day to the ''Unfinished Lives" of all those Jewish artists persecuted by the Nazis. And I have the honor of serving as arranger, guitarist and even conductor in this highly important project, bringing the music of Ghetto Theresienstadt, even cabaret songs, to stage!

Koniec grudnia, a my nie zwalniamy tempa.
Dziś wspólny list intencyjny w sprawie dbałości o wielolulturowe dziedzictwo Wrocławia, rozwoju badań nad historią i kulturą Żydów na Dolnym Śląsku podpisali:
Bente Kahan, Prezydent Wrocławia Jacek Sutryk oraz rektorzy prof. dr hab. Robert Olkiewicz (Uniwersytet Wrocławski) i prof. dr hab. inż.
Teraz mamy kolejne, ambitne plany do zrealizowania.

Wonderful and intensive weekend spent in Warsaw, Saturday centered around a great and well attended performance of "Unfinished Lives" with the incomparable Bente Kahan at the Polin Jewish museum, Sunday around returning with Julia Tsodyks and Misha Tsodyks who happened to be in Warsaw to actually visit the extensive museum!
