When you say to your 16 year old, we are going to go to Concan and float the river and she says what’s that?! Michael and I looked at each other in shock of how we have failed her to not know what floating the river is!! 😳🤦🏼‍♀️😅 So we pack up, and show her what river life is all about! No work, no tennis, just floating and hanging out with family! 🥰 GREAT core memories made! 🛟🏞️✨

She’s from TEXAS and with her team they made the state PROUD this past week at Battle of The Sections in Claremont, CA! Battling on the court against the best of the best of each section in the nation, these girls came together, competed and CONQUERED!! 💪 It has been years since Texas brought home the 1st PLACE trophy but they made history and did it!! 🏆 These girls had the most team spirit, the tightest bond and the sweetest support for one another!! If this gives us any indication of how college tennis is going to be, we can’t wait!! We finally got to cheer during a match! Ha! 😅📣🥳🎾

Nine years wasn’t long enough. 😢 We lost our Marshmellow last night after he tried to fight his way back to health after being attacked by a group of raccoons. He always made us laugh by his relaxed poses, loved when we ate rotisserie chicken and got some, couldn’t resist a good blanket in your lap to snuggle up in, was my morning coffee buddy looking at magazines together, was Bentley’s bed buddy, Michael’s boy to rough house with and captivated the hearts of everyone that came to visit! He was just the perfect cat and he will be desperately missed. We love you Marshmellow! 😔
