KC said let’s get MESSY 🦞🔥

Kanbe’s x Buck Tui really did their thing with this one. Crawfish, BBQ, music, people everywhere… just good energy all around.

And listen… my Louisiana roots kicked in real quick 😏
I grew up on crawfish boils, hands dirty, tables full, everybody talking over each other. So seeing that same vibe right here in KC? Yeah… I was in my element.

But what makes it even better? It’s bigger than a party.
Kanbe’s is out here doing real work for our city, making sure people have access to fresh food while reducing waste. That part matters.

So yeah, we showed up, ate GOOD, danced a little, and supported something that actually gives back 💜

Big love to everyone who made this one happen:

@bucktuibbq
@billiesgrocery
@suntoryglobalspirits
@mikeskc
@bentonwatts
@muni.kansascity
and 🎶 @theroyalchief on the beats keeping the energy UP all day 🔥

Go support. Go pull up next time.

Kansas City Yall Showed up and we got wild!🙏🔥❤️
In my 34 years of running restaurants and being a chef in Kansas City. One thing I know for sure is that you can always count on this community.

During uncertain times it’s important that we stop our busy lives and take time to give back. Help our neighbors,and get to know each other. Put your phone down and make sure to have a real connection with different people. Because Love ❤️ has no boundaries.
It crosses all state lines, cultures, races, and income brackets.

Special shout out to the boys that drove up 300 pounds of crawfish from Louisiana. That made this Louisiana crawfish boil/Kansas City BBQ an incredible once in a lifetime event. Thank you to all my friends who always show up. Yall raised some serious change $ for the fantastic folks @kanbesmarkets . 🙏🙏. See you at the next one. ❤️ Bucktui.
