3 months of Fried Fridays. Here’s the highlights. 🍳🛠️🪚
Every Friday we capture what actually went down that week — the good, the messy, the “how did we even pull that off.” Bit of a laugh, bit of an inside look at what running jobs week to week actually looks like.

No bullshit, just make sure you use the weekend to set yourself up for success. Stay awesome & God bless.

Our passive house project is well underway, the entire house is wrapped in Pro Clima membranes and the internal insulation is in. The windows are in and the metal cladding and roofing is being installed.

Every tradie’s secret weapon: the ‘FREE’ Bunnings basket 😂🔋

Nothing screams “professional setup” like pulling batteries out of a Bunnings basket you definitely didn’t pay for.

Be honest — who’s got at least three Bunnings baskets floating around their ute? 👇. •

Win the Morning, Win the Day.
Getting up early isn’t just about discipline — it’s about setting the tone. While the rest of the world hits snooze, you’re already moving. Clear mind, no distractions, full control.
Mornings are your edge — the time to think sharper, move with intent, and get ahead before others have even had their coffee.
It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being committed.
No excuses. No dragging feet. Just up, focused, and in motion.
Get up. Get it done. And watch how the rest of the day follows your lead.

Early site visits under the guidance of @beowulfbuilders 💪

Joe brings a level of detail and calm confidence that only comes with years in the game.

It’s not just about getting the job done—it’s about doing it right, passing on what matters, and raising the bar for the whole team.

Big respect to Joe for sharing his time and to our CM for soaking it all up and applying it straight away 🔨🚜

The 18-Minute Rule That Will Change Your Life 💥
Spend just 18 minutes a day on one skill or goal.
That’s 100 hours a year.
And that makes you better than 95% of people in the world at it.
Discipline > motivation.

To every dreamer, doer, and decision-maker out there—
You’ve got this. And we’ve got you.

This isn’t just construction.
It’s collaboration.
It’s vision brought to life—brick by brick, choice by choice, moment by moment.

At McDowell Building, we don’t just build homes—we build trust.
We listen. We guide. We make it make sense.
Because the right builder doesn’t just “get the job done”—
They walk the journey with you.

So here’s to doing it properly.
To clarity, care, and craftsmanship.
This is how you build something that lasts.

Garage extension project with @thewoodpeckercarpentryservices and @beowulfbuilders is kicking along after the biblical rains yesterday. Roofing ready to go on. Fuelled by coffee, killer nosebag from the @thefirstladyofrock and afternoon coffees that *may* or *may not* contain some of Irelands finest brown liquids. ☘️☘️ #themaltesefalcon #themaltesefalconstrikesagain #marlon #jojo #thefirstladyofrock #garageextension #carpentry #suburbancaveman
