In such a tumultuous time in Minneapolis, it’s hard to post beautiful things. But it is a reminder that there is beauty and creativity and art and there are wonderfully talented, diverse, exceptional humans who make art and furniture and wallcovering and paint our homes and put roofs over our heads and deliver rugs to our clients.

So we are focusing on art this week to keep remembering there is beauty in creativity.

2022 I see u 👀 it wasn’t all good but some of it was really great.

had a not-so-little hip surgery that relieved some pain I’d been having for nearly 10 years. turns out one of my legs was not shorter than the other (as a chiropractor once presumed) and instead was diagnosed with a rare condition that was producing benign tumors in my hip joint 🙃 don’t put off getting your ailments checked out (especially for years), folks.

took plenty of soul restorative trips out to wisconsin with madeline and brendan, visited kel and jo in new york, and went out for our yearly dip into the boundary waters—this time with lara and caroline.

witnessed my nephew’s personality grow and blossom. he’ll be 1 in few days :,)

observed within myself more peace and less resistance. slowing down, taking it all in. lots of love and laughter this year—but don’t be fooled—lots of discomfort, challenges and reflection too. nevertheless, grateful for this little life. 🌷🌻🌷🌻
