33 looks. Three models. Two animals. One day. And every hand in the room on something at once.

What started as moodboards, references, and a very ambitious shot list became the Chicago Style Weddings cover shoot at a never-before-seen venue, The St. Regis Chicago.

Every look had its own idea. Dresses changed. Hair changed. Sets changed. Florals moved. Cakes were smashed. A cat and a poodle had their moments, mostly on their own terms.

We love this kind of creative chaos. Taking an idea that lives on a moodboard and figuring out everything it takes to make it real.

The final shots look effortless. Getting there is the fun part. And it takes an entire village to get it done.

Jordyn chose an Alta Moda gown defined by its sculpted strapless bodice and beautifully draped skirt, finished with a delicate lace veil that brought a romantic softness to the look.

We were up all night for this.

For the second year, Aspen Avenue has officially been named one of Loverly’s Best Wedding Videographers on The 2026–2027 Loverly List.

Out of tens of thousands of nominations from around the world, seeing our name on this list again feels pretty surreal.

Michael and I worked incredibly hard this year. We traveled, took risks, pushed ourselves creatively, told bigger stories, and probably spent way too many late nights obsessing over a few seconds of a film. We poured a lot of ourselves into this work, so having it recognized like this means a lot.

But the coolest part of what we do will always be the people.

To our couples - thank you for trusting us, creating with us, letting us try the weird idea, and giving us the freedom to tell your story in a way that actually feels like you. We quite literally would not get to do any of this without you.

To our planners, photographers, and creative partners - thank you for creating alongside us, referring us, cheering us on, and making wedding days so damn fun to be a part of.

And especially to the @loverly team - thank you for seeing what we’re creating, continuing to champion our work, and recognizing Aspen Avenue among so many insanely talented people in this industry.

Last year, this recognition gave us a moment to pause and reflect.
