🚨⚡️ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: SAMI KNOX⚡️🚨

Sami Knox, aka Minneapolis based drummer/producer/DJ Sam Enochs, strives to push the boundaries of rhythm and groove within the realm of electronic music. Combining a lifetime of instrumental experience and an 18-year production career in a variety of musical genres, this project expresses the influences of dubstep, jungle/drum&bass/footwork, and 2-step/garage/breaks through the lense of a jazz/funk drummer. On top of maintaining a heavy focus on groove, melding different styles and genres is a staple of his music and live sets. His ever-growing pile of unreleased works has already garnered the attention and support of artists such as Mr. Bill, Ternion Sound, Wraz, Chef Boyarbeatz, COPYCATT, and many more.

A Minneapolis-based, DJ & Producer, Bern Higher blends deep dub and dubstep bass that keeps crowds moving, with song flips, wubs and moments of connecting to something deeper. Her sets are all about igniting the fire within, to let go and let music move through you.

🚨⚡️ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: VISUALIZE⚡️🚨

VISUALIZE is an emerging bass music project from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, driven by a passion for
heavy electronic music, deep dubs, and the darker side of the underground scene. Combining deep
low-end, aggressive bass design, atmospheric textures, and dynamic production, and meshing it perfectly with his inspiration from hip hop.

VISUALIZE aims to create a sound that is both immersive and unmistakably its own. Rooted in the belief that music is a powerful form of self-expression, VISUALIZE uses production as an outlet to transform ideas, emotions, and experiences into sound. Each release is built with an emphasis on atmosphere, impact, and energy, balancing deep, hypnotic moments with powerful bass-driven drops.

While relatively new in the scene, VISUALIZE has a growing dedication to production, DJing, and the culture surrounding bass music, the
project continues to evolve with every release.

We are just under 2 weeks away from taking over Club David for Siouxciety Presents: Bwompster & Basura - The Sinewave Symbiotes Tour 🦠🔊🧬

And with that we bring our first artist spotlight!

🚨⚡️Artist Spotlight: Good Lads ⚡️🚨

From our very own collective, Good Lads consists of two close friends that also go by EZPZ and choy. These guys were two of the front men in getting siouXciety started up almost 3 years ago. They have navigated the music scene with each other since high school, being heavily rooted in hip-hop. From then on, discovering more of the EDM world back in 2014/2015, dubstep started to make a heavy influence to these guys. With digging for tunes and going to shows, their taste was constructed through the years. Once they started DJing, their sound was influenced by UK dubstep, grime, trap, hip-hop, boombap, halftime, and a bit of glitch-hop. Don’t miss their set on 10/16! They will be opening the night for us to set the tone! 🔊🍀

So I’ve been reflecting on how my love for music and the EDM community has impacted my life over the last 12 years. I went to my first music festival when I was 18 years old! I attended Summer Set Music Festival with a few close friends from high school and had no idea what to expect other than I was excited to hear some of my favorite Djs at the time, which were Kaskade, Bassnectar, Flux Pavilion, RL Grime, and Figure. That festival experience completely changed the trajectory of my life. Shout out to @simshows for creating this festival! Music has always been an outlet for me to connect with myself emotionally and physically. Going to shows and music festivals is such a liberating and therapeutic experience for me. It’s my favorite way to express myself through movement, release energy, and connect with my friends. Music has created so many friendships for me and deepened my friendships along the way. I’m so grateful for it all. To all my friends who love music and have gotten down with me over the years, I love you!! 🙏🏼💗 Also sooo proud of my friends who are successfully DJing! You make life so fun and exciting. ☺️ Cheers to dancing through life with the people you love 💃
