POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This post has taken me weeks to complete. How do you sum up one year in one post? You can’t really do it, or I couldn’t, at least. In 2024, I chose to let go and stop second-guessing myself. I took a leap of faith and followed my heart. I checked things off my bucket list, whether I could really afford to do them, or not (how could I afford NOT to, when the opportunities presented themselves?). It was one of the most incredible years of my life and also one of great change and disruption, but I just let it be what if was meant to be. I wanted to do justice to 2024 in one post and I am not quite sure that this little caption and these 20 photos can really do all that, but you know what? I am tired of over-thinking everything and trying to be always create the perfect post. My goal for this year, is to just be more myself, not worry about being perfect or pleasing anyone, especially not the gram! So here are a handful of my 2024 highlights in somewhat of a particular order:

Fabulously French, absolutely gourmand and decadently divine, @ducdelorraine is a wonderful institution right here in Montreal. I often stop there for their famous quiche Lorraine, but yesterday I enjoyed my favourite salad: La salade Niçoise while my fiancé and dear friend @bernardcordeau both had eggs Benedict with lobster and crab. We marvelled at the excellent service and attention to every detail. Even @dapperschnauzer and Queenie were welcomed with treats and water and lots of affection. A gourmet meal at Duc de Lorraine would not be complete without one of their classic desserts. I had the millefeuille while Chris opted for la religieuse au café and Bernard chose the Baba au rhum. A lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon or for any special occasion! Thank you for hosting us this time and we look forward to our next visit. (invitation)

Ready for the chic Easter brunch @restaurantlerichmond - Always a unique dining experience, whether it’s for the annual maple brunch, or simply as a lunch, brunch or dinner spot, restaurant Le Richmond in Griffintown never disappoints! I make sure to pass by @marcheitalienlerichmond afterwards to pick up some gourmet groceries and now they even have a fresh pasta bar. There are still spots available for tomorrow’s Easter brunch! (Media Invite) Merci @bernardcordeau for being my gracious and generous date! 🫶🏻
