Feeling like a very proud (and smug) Yoga Mama Today. Last night before class, I looked around. We had no begginers join us last night so I decided this was my chance. My chance to bring these women to the next level. They were going whether they liked it or not🤣 We went from split dog to low lunge- a Posture I have avoided like the plague for years because I felt I was "too long & lanky" So in secret I practised at home - one night drunk for 2 hours 🤣🤣 it was not a pretty sight🤣 Nothing is handed to you naturally. You have to practise. Full stop. I did hear a few swear words last night when I did the demo. Our Lords name was dragged through the mud a few times🤣 but we got there! What a laugh along the way 🤣🤣 I could have taken the easy route- and kept practising what they are familiar with but we must progress in life... On and off the Mats. Challenges will always arise. Will we run away or take a shot? These women ALWAYS take the shot! So a huge congrats to all of them! A few short months ago we learned the foundations of Yoga and now we are well and truly in a magic flow💫👌🙏 I can't wait to see what's next ❤
