Bernie’s is a food truck making the absolute best Italian ice. The orange guava Italian ice nailed the tropical vibes. Also the toasted meringue on top was phenomenal.

The passion fruit pie from doubting Thomas has to be the best slice of pie in the city. The macadamia nut crust had gnarly crunch.

Hermons is highland park has quickly become a local favorite. The lemon baked Alaska is the ultimate dessert for lemon meringue lovers like me.

Moos Craft Barbecue makes the best bbq in Los Angeles. The tres leches bread pudding is the perfect end to an already decadent meal.

The Key Lime Pie from Fat and Flour is another great choice if you like sour sweets. It’s so tangy that it can be a little polarizing.

Yamanaka Kakigori makes Japanese shaved ice with ice imported from Japan. The flavors change regularly using seasonal ingredients from local farmers markets.

The deconstructed lemon donut from met him at a bar is a work of art. I love lemon donuts and this elevated everything about the experience.

Donna’s in Echo Park is known for their phenomenal Italian food. I think they may just have the best tiramisu in the city.

The Chocolate Cream Pie from Quarter Sheets is my absolute favorite slide of pie. They nail the balance of salty and sweet. Also the crust is the absolute flakiest crust I’ve seen.

A dynamic duo from childhood brought together in modern times once again THIS SUNDAY at Bub’s Pizza in HLP! @bernies_la makes insane italian ice with real fruit and topped with freshly torched meringue. The combo is both a throwback and a push forward for your mouth’s buds. Bernie’s will be parked up on Ave 51 from 12-6pm rain or shine - so come on down for the one-two punch!
