Everyone says they’ve found a hidden gem, but trust me, this one is actually hidden and good ✨. Tucked away in the back corner of a plaza in Torrance is @berryandboba , a cozy Brazilian shop run by the sweetest couple 🇧🇷💛.
Their star is the açaí 🫐 100% pure açaí berries straight from the Brazilian Amazon rainforest 🌿. They grind the berries themselves, no fillers or extra fruit, just pure purple perfection 💜. You can even get it in smoothie form 🥤 and add protein powder 💪 if you’re chasing those gains.
But here’s what surprised me, they also serve Brazilian pastries 🥟🧀, which are so hard to find! My top three picks: empada, coxinha, and pão de queijo. Basically, a dream come true for chicken + cheese lovers 🐓🧀😍.
And of course, you’ve gotta wash it all down with their colorful drinks 🍓🍵🍉🍫. Some fan faves: strawberry matcha latte, red velvet cheesecake, and watermelon waves. My personal go-to? The iced Ghirardelli chocolate 🍫❄️.
