Yesterday was a movie. DC, you brought the energy to TEMPO by @joekay. The dance floor was something special. Big love to our opening DJs, @djmobu and @lelynddarkes, for setting the tone from the jump.

Coming soon. It’s a terrifying reality that many casual smokers might not be aware of: the days of assuming that pack is pure are long gone. This eye-opening conversation sheds light on a dangerous trend where unsuspecting users are consuming marijuana laced with fentanyl.

The most alarming part? You can’t tell by looking at it. Because the substance is sprayed directly onto the flower rather than dusted as a powder, there is no visual cue to warn you. It’s a chilling reminder that what’s being sold on the street is rarely what it claims to be, and the risks have never been higher. Stay vigilant and prioritize safety above everything else.

Coming soon. Real wisdom often comes from the most unexpected places. Hear the story of how one man learned the art of balancing a career with side hustles, all thanks to the mentorship of the late, great Dante “Fat Tater” Barksdale.

Fat Tater, known for his deep ties to the real-life history behind The Wire, didn’t just offer advice—he shared the blueprint for navigating life, turning experiences into lessons, and ultimately finding a path forward with organizations like Safe Streets. It’s a powerful reminder that the best game doesn't come from textbooks; it comes from people who have truly lived it. Rest in power to a legend who changed the trajectory of so many lives.
