The two-toed sloth (Bradypus variegatus) lives in Panama and Costa Rica as an arboreal animal. It is slow and energy-saving, with gray-brown fur and three claws on both the front and hind limbs. Its habitat includes tropical mixed and evergreen forests, as well as secondary forests, but it prefers low disturbance.
