Lamma Book Club presents 📀⬇️

BERTØ
-------------
BERTØ is a versatile DJ and event organizer whose music is shaped by his life in Spain, Hong Kong, and the Dutch underground scene in Rotterdam. As a co-founder of the Rotterdam collective CODA and an organizer for Face2Face and 240 in Asia, he has performed extensively across Europe and Asia.

His high-energy, boundary-pushing style moves between groove-driven techno blended with industrial EBM rhythms and the relentless, fast tempos genres incorporating trance, happy hardcore, and makina.

Ultimately, BERTØ rejects genre limits, focusing entirely on keeping the dance floor moving with unexpected track selections, rolling grooves, and pure momentum.

DJ Masabi
-------------
Born to the heartbeat of Delhi, raised in Shenzhen, and now rooted in Hong Kong’s underground, Masabi (@Mejica) is a rhythm-hooked, genre-fluid DJ with a cheeky streak of sass and an instinct for keeping the floor moving.

A resident at Salon10, she has also played Avoca (Mondrian Hong Kong), Moth Radio, OMA, Soho House Hong Kong, Ping Pong Gintonería, the robot stage at Clockenflap, and raves across the city.

Every set is a conversation with the crowd, shaped by the energy the room gives her. Threading Indian textures into Hong Kong’s late-night circuitry, she likes to colour outside the lines and is happiest when people come together.

Le Rendez-Vous Brunch at Café Falco @falco.hk .
Sunday, and the alley had more people in it than the room did. Usually a good sign before you’ve even walked in.

Downstairs, Falco was the café and cocktail base camp. Upstairs, the afternoon brought together tattoo artists, vintage from Hélène et Michelle’s closet, and Bert on the decks. Brunch, tattoos and a closet sale in one room. Somehow, it worked.

Falco made a menu for the day, including a White Russian Martini with Kahlua, vodka and cream, created especially for the brunch. Loaded croissants, flatbreads and two more cocktails rounded it out.

People came through and stayed. The alley stayed busy, and nobody seemed in a hurry to leave. A Sunday afternoon that found its own pace.

Le Rendez-Vous Brunch
Sun 11 October, 12–6pm
Café Falco, G/F, 5 Wa Ln, Sheung Wan

Organised by @heleneetmichelle × @guerrieri.official
Closet sale: Hélène et Michelle
Menswear: @guerrieri.official
Flash tattoos: @the.pot.tattoo
DJ: @bert_hk & friends
Cocktails: @falco.hk

Born in Spain and raised in Hong Kong, BERTØ @bert_hk bridges two worlds, refining his sound over six years in Rotterdam’s dark warehouses and underground club circuit.
His sets move seamlessly between hypnotic, groove-driven techno cut with raw EBM and the relentless, high-velocity drive of the 240 sound—blending trance, makina, and happy hardcore. Shaped by Hong Kong’s non-stop pace, his mixing avoids rigid genre limits, focusing entirely on forward momentum, rolling low-ends, and unexpected curveballs to keep the floor moving.
Co-founder of Rotterdam’s CODA and a driving force behind Asia’s Face2Face events, BERTØ brings an uncompromising philosophy behind the decks across Europe and Asia: no rules, no boundaries—if it sounds good, you dance.

Born in Spain and raised in Hong Kong, BERTØ @bert_hk is a product of two worlds, shaped by years spent between Europe and Asia. After six years in Rotterdam, he found his home in the Dutch underground, where endless weekends in dark warehouses, clubs, and underground parties helped forge the sound he is known for today.
His sets move between two distinct worlds. On one side, BERTØ delivers raw, groove driven techno infused with elements of EBM and hypnotic rhythms, music shaped by long nights, industrial spaces, and the darker atmosphere of Northern Europe. On the other, he embraces the relentless energy of the 240 sound, blending influences from makina, happy hardcore, trance, and everything in between. Growing up in the fast paced environment of Hong Kong, a city that never seems to slow down, left its mark on his approach to music: energetic, forward driving, and always pushing the momentum forward.
