GET CREATIVE WITH BERT’S BADGES & CRAFTS! 💛

Pride has always been about making space for ourselves, expressing who we are, and doing things our own way. From protest placards to DIY badges, creativity has long been part of queer resistance.

We’re excited to welcome Bert’s Badges and Crafts to Walthamstow Trans Pride 2026!

Bertie Hodd is a retired drag artist, trainee horticulturalist and hobbyist badge-maker. They’ll be bringing their best archival materials for you to scour, rip and stick so you’ll be the pride of the pronoun pins!

Come make something political, personal, ridiculous or just because you feel like it. No experience needed, just bring yourself and get stuck in.

Well, well, well. May. What an epic month you've been! 🔥🥵

So many shows, so many experiences, so many incredible people ☀️

I don't want to add to the purely positive Instagram hype, and pretend life is just peachy at the moment, as behind the scenes life is holding its challenges 🙏🏻

However, work is a form of beautiful escapism at the moment - and the month of May has been a wild and beautiful ride 👔✌🏻

I'm going to try my best to list the people spotted in this video, but I may miss a few from the list 😂🙈🙏🏻

Thank you to all the wonderful performers I work with, who give me creative purpose! And to the wonderful community of Brighton. I've had 10 years going strong in this gorgeous town almost, and I love saying hey to someone in every coffee shop and every street corner ❤️‍🔥

Was honoured to be a Delegate in the "Dad : The Finale Conference" 😊will miss that reversible gilet and that distinctive "socks, sandals, bumbag" look - which has done so much to reinforce Dad fashion! But atleast it's all in the archive for future generations!

Fab farewell show 😭great moment when everyone stormed the stage at the end to dance ❤️ well done to all x

Last week, we had the absolute best time with our favourite Dad aka @bertiehodd ✨ he gave us the silliest poses: the ‘manspread’, the classic ‘dad nap’, the ‘my back gave out’ and of course the ‘I love my train set’ and sooo many more brilliant ones ✨

Join us for our next session on the 26th of June, more details to follow soon 👀
