Somewhere out there is a version of you who’s more rested, more curious, and more alive. Go meet her.

Maybe she’s waiting at a spa in Tuscany, on a beach in Tulum, or on a trail in the Tetons. This was my version of reconnecting with myself a few years back in Breckenridge. This was one of the best trips my daughter and I ever took. Bike riding, horseback riding, hiking, all the outdoors we could get.

Someone said they hadn’t seen any of my Colorado trip, so here they are. I really didn’t go to capture content so I don’t have too much…

I like reallllyyyy love trees (I’ve always said they are my favorite flower) and I will travel for my favorites

so I couldn’t wait to finally chase the gold this season! 🍂

Fun facts:

Did you know an aspen isn’t a single tree? Aspen groves share one root system, making it the largest organism on earth. They rarely grow from seeds and continue cloning from the roots.

The white powder on the aspen bark can be rubbed on and used as natural sunscreen.

The bark is a pain killer. It contains salicin, the same compound aspirin comes from.

They’re a yummy treat and support wildlife more than the pine forests around them

We’ll be taking a short break from October 26 through November 8, so stock those freezers and grab your favorites while you can!

Sometimes the store just looks real cute 🤍

Fall weekdays with snow capped peaks, moody clouds, and a sprinkling of faint flurries just beg to be captured 📸

Shop is open regular hours for the remainder of this week and will shift to mud season hours next week with a few planned closures in early November.
