POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This past Friday at Little Echos Learning Academy, Sky presented his very first school project for their Black History Month program and my baby chose Martin Luther King Jr.. 🖤✊🏾

Watching him stand up there as Dr. King, in his little suit with that tiny mustache because yes it HAD to be part of the look 😩🥹 truly filled my heart. He knew his line, delivered it confidently, and played his part so well.

We worked together on his trifold board, and he practiced his line with his dad. I even added a “Making Your Choice” tab to his poster to get all the kids involved. I created ten words and Skylur and his friends had to decide which side of the diagram each word belonged on, the Good Choice side or the Bad Choice side. It turned into such a cute interactive moment.

Some may say I’m extra and maybe I am 🤷🏽‍♀️ but I will always go above and beyond within my means for my son. He deserves that.

The coolest kid. The flyest at anything he does. And I couldn’t be more proud of my baby.

Mommy’s heart is full. 🖤✨

🥷 Thank you, Ninjas! 🥋
We are so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate Skylur’s Nunchuck Ninja Party. He had the best time and loved sharing what he’s learning at martial arts with his friends. To our little ninjas, we hope you enjoyed all the fun, games, and officially earning your ninja skills.

A huge thank you to @sun_martial_arts for hosting such an amazing party for our little ninja. Everyone had an incredible time. Truly the best party to date! There were so many unforgettable moments that this video couldn’t even capture half of the fun we all had.

Thank you to everyone who showed love, near and far. We truly appreciate you all. ❤️

I just want to take a moment to say how truly thankful I am for my son and the incredible growth I’ve watched in him at just 3 years old. He is so wise, so witty and so bright with the biggest heart.

A little over two months ago he asked me if he could start karate and as his mom I had to make it happen. I called around found Sun Martial Arts and got him signed up now look. After only eight classes my baby earned his yellow belt. I wasn’t even planning to share this but I am just so proud of him.

I’m grateful I was able to take this step for him a path that’s already teaching him self defense, respect, discipline and confidence all at once. Every class hasn’t been perfect some days he doesn’t feel like going. But once he get started that hesitation disappears. His strength and resilience amaze me.

I’m thankful for our family who always supports us and thankful for his dad for showing up to his classes faithfully and working with him on his little exercises for class.

Sky’s village is strong steady and filled with love and I’m beyond blessed to be raising such a well spoken intelligent big 3 year old boy. 💛🥋

•Side note he loves his Mr Dragon!

I originally shared this in my story, but this moment deserves a permanent spot. My son is beyond amazingly intelligent!

Today, I was in tears of joy watching him trace and spell his full name! He’s known how to spell his first name for a while now, but I decided to challenge him with his full name—and he nailed it! Seeing him trace it so perfectly at just 2 years old has me completely blown away.

The joy of watching him grow, learn, and accomplish new things amazes me every single day. I’m so incredibly proud of you, my son

Yesterday, my son and I had the most magical time on the Polar Express train ride—an experience every parent should share with their child!

From receiving our golden tickets to enjoying freshly baked cookies and the BEST hot chocolate in our souvenir cups, every moment was special. They read us The Polar Express story, took us on a magical trip to the North Pole, and shared the story of the boy’s bell and the magic of believing.

When we boarded the train again, Santa surprised us with candy and gifted each of us a sleigh bell—such a magical keepsake! This is a memory my son will treasure forever, and one I’ll hold close to my heart. ✨🎄🚂

This past Saturday was one for the books.

I have been trying for the past couple years to get my son and myself to Home dept for their free kids work shop.

As much as I love to build and design things I feel I’m slowly but surely passing down those skills to my son. (Honestly it’s in him naturally).

He is so creative and loves all things Arts and music just like mommy.

This was our first Saturday at the kids workshop at @homedepot and this will not be our last. This will become our little tradition.

This month’s theme was Whiteboard.
#Homedepot provides the kiddos with an apron to keep and all the tools needed to successfully complete each project.

Sky said he can’t wait to go back. He loved it and his little friend prince and mommy Philicia came along with us. We had a great time.

We will have many more play dates to come.

Our boys get along so well together and they did really good at our first kids workshop with Home Depot.

Side note: Home Depot also provides the kids with a pin to put on their aprons and certificate of achievement each time they come.

@skylurs_dream is a pro with the hammer at the age of 2. 🥹
