Where else would change the sign🤔 so happy to discover Amanpuri after 22 or 25 Aman properties. Thank you @amanpuri, @aman @besvisor @besvisor_ting for such wonderful accommodations! We have been enjoying time in our pool, but not the ocean yet!

Delighted to be back in Thailand to experience Aman Nai Lert here in Bangkok and, in a few days, to stay at the mother of all Aman hotels…Aman Puri in Phuket! After so many years and Amans around the world…21 of them I believe! Thank you to @besvisor and @besvisor_ting for getting us here and such kind treats for the bears!

There are a few traditions that make this trip feel like home. We always grab our favorite local beer when we land in Provo—it means we’re almost there. Our travel agent always helps us bring home some amazing liquor, and we can never resist drinks made by our favorite bartender, Gaga from Montenegro.

If you know us, you know we usually keep to ourselves. But this trip was different. We made some wonderful new friends and had the best last night. We went out with Captain Rice, who caught lobster for us, and it was grilled fresh for dinner. What an unforgettable experience!

The photos of Chris and me where I’m wearing the navy dress pretty much sum up our relationship—they make me smile every time. 😊 Chris also finally got to be taller than Gary on this trip, which was a milestone! And one of the sweetest surprises? The chef made Chris sushi that wasn’t even on the menu because he remembered how much Chris loved it. Moments like these are what make this place so special, and we’re already looking forward to the next visit. ❤️

The luxury travel world has been glued to this story all week. 👀

Aman has spent decades building one of the strongest reputations in ultra-luxury hospitality.

Now its newest resort, Amanvari, has become the centre of one of the biggest PR controversies we’ve seen in years after a luxury hotel reviewer says his stay was cancelled at the last minute and police were called when he arrived.

We’ve laid out the timeline based on publicly reported claims and online discussions.

As always, we’ll update this if new verified information or an official response changes the picture.

What do you think happened? 🤔

Hot take: you might be quietly annoying your luxury travel advisor, and not even know it. I put together a list based on personal experience from the last 9 years and unhinged common grievances aired in travel advisor group chats (but I softened the blow) 😁

Comment ROUNDUP and I’ll send you the link 😉

P.S. this was made with *zero* clients in mind.

Menorca is a special island. Ciutadella is a special town. Faustino Gran Relais & Châteaux is the right place to stay.

Four interconnected palaces in the historic heart of the city — dating to the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, opposite the port, steps from the Cathedral. Every room different. Stone floors, wide vaults, inner courtyards — original architecture blended into contemporary luxury. Spa inside an ancient grotto. Harbor and Cathedral views. Two pools, Michelin Guide listed, private guest finca on Menorca’s north coast. At the center of one of the most beautiful medieval towns in the Mediterranean.

Here’s why this is where you should stay in Menorca:

• The design is sophisticated and genuinely cool — a vibe that most luxury properties spend decades trying to achieve.
• The location puts everything in Ciutadella within walking distance — port, restaurants, old town streets.
• The kind of property you discover and immediately want to tell people about. So here we are.

Highly recommended. One of the best.

Share this with whoever is planning Menorca and needs to know where to stay. 🏰
