Marry me, Martha ♥️

My first trip to the Vineyard was the most magical, beautiful, crazy, adventurous roller-coaster ride. The kind where you hold on through the twists and turns and somehow still enjoy the ride.

There’s something about the Vineyard that just feels spiritual. The land, the water, the energy… there’s a peace here that slows you down, fills you back up, and sends you home a little different than you came. I can’t quite explain it, but I definitely felt it.

I thought I was coming to the Vineyard to celebrate Black women and sisterhood. Turns out, I was meant to experience the beauty of that sisterhood for myself. ✨

I’m leaving recharged, renewed, and most grateful for the love I felt, the old friends I reunited with, the new ones I made, and all the beautiful ways they showed up for me. I love y’all foreva.

Today’s Ladies Who Lead Brunch was everything I hoped it would be... incredible food, meaningful conversations, laughter, encouragement, and most importantly, a safe space where women can show up as their authentic selves.
A huge thank you to @thetopsdiner for hosting us. As always, the food was absolutely amazing! 🍽️✨

I’m especially grateful because this week I’ll have the honor of listing the home of one of the amazing women in this group. It’s a reminder that genuine relationships and trust create opportunities in the most meaningful ways.

To every woman who joined us today, thank you. I appreciate each of you more than you know, and I’m so grateful to be part of a community where we uplift one another, celebrate each other’s journeys, and create space for honest conversations, growth, and genuine connection.

Here’s to many more brunches, beautiful conversations, and continuing to build a community where every woman feels seen, heard, and supported. 🥂💜

Third time’s the charm!

Today marked our third Ladies Who Lead brunch of the year, and the energy was nothing short of inspiring. We welcomed 4 incredible new women into the room, and the stories, the business ideas, and the variety of backgrounds and professions reminded me why I started this.

This isn’t just brunch—it’s a growing community of powerful, purpose-driven women who uplift, support, and pour into each other.

If you’re ever invited, come. The connections being made here are real, intentional, and rooted in love, leadership, and legacy.

A special thank you to @Lefkes for hosting us and to our amazing server Chris, who took such great care of us.

And to every woman who showed up today—and continues to show up—thank you. This movement is just getting started, and I’m so grateful.

Thank you to EVERYONE who came to celebrate the life of my Pop-Pop, Charles Henry Hawkins. Page Funeral Home did a wonderful job and showed so much love and compassion. @salem_abington Salem Baptist Church of Abington gave him a beautiful homegoing service. Ivy Hill Cemetery showed up for him and we were able to lay him to rest not too far from my aunt Vanessa. I got to meet my new uncle ❤️, see my other uncle and many cousins and family friends that I hadn't seen in MANY yrs. Thank you all... my cup runneth over. #atpeace

To my mom and Aunt for doing all of the hard, the messy, the things, the difficult decisions, the time, the physical, mental and emotional energy, the love, thoughtfulness and wonderful care that you gave... there will never be enough THANK YOUs.

To my partner in crime, my Cuzzo, thanks for letting me be your sous chef and all of the giggles... you should live closer... but that Arctic air that we felt this weekend... I get it... it's a nope... lol

My Sunday Brunch was everything I could image with a Cherry on Top. I had idea, I asked the people who support & guide me in business, I always knew the location , I set the date, sent out invites and “Ladies Who Lead” was created.

What an amazing group of Women came out. I am building a Network of People that will essentially help my clients, my business and others. When you receive the invitation please attend.
