Kombucha might’ve pioneered the modern gut-health beverage trend, yet household adoption has hit a plateau. Conversely, prebiotic sodas have exploded in popularity, positioning themselves as a lower-sugar alternative to traditional sodas while targeting the same refreshing midday moments.

To survive, kombucha must undergo a fascinating “sensemaxxing” evolution that fiercely rebels against muted, minimalism...ditching the “health elixir” identity and reinvent itself as a complex, bold, social drink.

What’s your take?

Something we started doing again this time around to prep for our embryo transfer is @hellofresh .

I’ve always struggled with cooking because, if I’m being real, it’s just not my favorite thing to do. I wish it was! But I know how important it is for me to nourish my body, especially going into another transfer.

This makes it so much easier for us. We get to pick our meals ahead of time, choose options with things like grass-fed beef and organic chicken, and overall we just eat so much better when we’re doing it. It also takes away the stress of figuring out what to make every night and helps us waste less food since we’re not buying a bunch of groceries or making leftovers that never get eaten.

This isn’t an ad or sponsored at all, just something I wanted to share that we’re doing differently this time to help nourish my body and feel my best going into our next transfer. I know I can’t be the only one who struggles with cooking a home-cooked meal every single night, so maybe this will help someone else too. 🤍

Day 2.

We presented the U.S. premiere of THE NIGHT IS FADING AWAY by @ezequiel_salinas_dop & @ramirodsonzini. @p.l.u.t.o.n.e.s.s gave an enchanting performance beforehand. Our WIRED + WIDE-EYED shorts program concluded with a conversation with filmmakers @eleffsee, @david_crdza & @kookyblair, and afterwards we presented @souleymanetatadiallo’s vibrant debut THE CEMETERY OF CINEMA. @queensmemory visited and recorded audience-goers’ memories of past Rockaway summers and @delroydelectables_ served dinner in the courtyard.

Ferragosto 2026 — what a day! 🇮🇹 Vespas rolling through Helms, a crowd full of good people, and the sweetest little ones at the Italian reading corner — this is exactly what we hoped it would be and then some.

Thank you to every vendor, every guest, and everyone who showed up and made it feel like home.

See you next year 🍝🤍
