conventions or medieval markets: what’s more your thing? 🎌🗡️ I used to love anything with old-world charm when I was younger. In Sweden, I even watched a knight tournament with my parents once... still one of those memories that feels a little magical. ✨ Then I discovered conventions, and somehow there wasn’t much time left for the medieval markets I used to love. “You’re always doing that. And I hate it.” Holy wow. Holy hell. Holy 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦. Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel completely wrecked me – and I loved every second of it. I was already a Vox s̶i̶m̶p̶ fan since season 1, but season 2 honestly made it so much worse. No regrets. We’re way past the point of saving. Male characters in romance anime are often portrayed as elegant and androgynous – graceful, refined, even embodying traits that are typically labeled as “feminine.” And yet, they’re still confident and compelling. Despite their looks, they often still reinforce the same traditional tropes: the strong protector, the one who dominates, the one who has to take responsibility. I enjoy these designs, but sometimes I wish we’d see more characters who aren’t just aesthetically subversive, but who actually break away from rigid gender roles. Characters who aren’t defined by being a man or a woman first, but simply work as engaging individuals. What’s your take on this?
