Guelph round up! I had some nice River walks. I found a coffee shop I liked, @cafelapoche, bought a very cool 90s Ralph Lauren polkadot number from a sweet little vintage store on Quebec Street whose name escapes me. (Turns out it’s @rumoursguelph) And I had a hard time finding good food to eat. Like a really hard time (and it is not like I didn’t do deep research and talk to people who know and who have lived there for a long time and yes, I know about @nahathaikitchen but it was closed for a long break!) Anyway swipe through to find my favourite Guelph restaurant meal. And honestly favourite by a large margin — you can’t deny it is consistent! I also met some warm and wonderful people, including and especially, Jenna @bevsonbeverley and Meg @twofacesbar who both made a point of telling me how meaningful and helpful my book had been when they were opening spaces, which made me feel really good! Walking into a random Thursday night at Two Faces was so lovely, warm and welcoming to me, that Meg and I are figuring out a little book event (probably sometime in September)! And I finally got to meet Tariq of @revelcider who is as charming as his Instagram would lead you to believe! So even though I found a lot of the food, even places that were recommended honestly kind of mid, you still wormed your way into my heart, Guelph!
