2026 LA MARATHON TRAINING 😤

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

13.1 miles. a thousand conversations with myself because my airpods died within the first 15 minutes.

so i laughed my way through. i struggled. i celebrated. but most importantly, i kept going.

those rolling hills in Redondo Beach were NO JOKE! after 3 months of training, i’m just happy i finished what i started.

grateful for every woman who shared the road and every version of me that got me here.

we can do hard things, y’all! mind over matter. one step at a time.

Last track night before Nike After Dark Tour LA 13.1 miles! 🏁💙💫

As we wrapped up our final track night, i asked my fellow runners: What’s one running affirmation that keeps you going? 🏃🏽‍♀️

Because sometimes i need that extra push, too! My mind be racing, my body was cramping (shoutout to my cycle 🥲), and i was pushing through discomfort while preparing mentally for the half marathon ahead.

The stories we tell ourselves matter, especially when things get uncomfortable. So naturally, i had to collect a little motivation from the girls. 👟❤️‍🔥🤸🏽‍♀️

✨ Mine: “Bad bitch body loading” & “10 more seconds.”

✨ @beybad_ : “Bitch, you better keep running!”

✨ @vee.lxpez : “Let’s go!”

✨ @dreeaa05 : “Keep pushing and keep going!”

Different affirmations, same determination. 🫶🏽

I’m forever grateful to be surrounded by beautiful souls who keep showing up and pushing through God knows what. We never truly know what someone is carrying, but there’s something powerful about moving through life together.

Movement is medicine. Community is medicine. 💙

Thank you, ladies, for the laughter, love, and inspiration. See y’all at the starting line this weekend! 🏁💫

Now i wanna know, what’s an affirmation that keeps YOU going when things get uncomfortable? 👀🏃🏽‍♀️💙

Their 13th YR Anniversary was truly amazing. Being chosen as a pacer came as a surprise, and I was nervous, but stepping outside my comfort zone is where growth happens. I’m grateful to be part of this family. Running has brought amazing people, and unforgettable experiences. Thank you, @ladybridgerunners

Marathon training awakens my inner beast, especially during long weekend runs that feel like adventures. Showing up for myself and exploring places that I hardly go to. Thanks to the fam for the Griffith Park invite; I had a great time. I ran to the Marathon Run Club after and finished my long run solo ending at Downtown LA.
