📖✨ ARC Review:
Some books give you the perfect love story. And then some remind you that real life doesn't always work that way. Irrelevant Situations was one of those reads that felt surprisingly real to me. I finished it, appreciating the story, but what stayed with me most was Izzie's journey.

Watching her navigate difficult situations, grow as a person, and learn what she deserves was genuinely rewarding. There were moments when I just wanted to reach into the pages and give her the biggest, warmest hug. She deserved so much gentleness after everything she had to deal with. And can we talk about the friendship between Izzie and Jo? Because I loved how their bond reminded me that friendship is its own kind of love, and sometimes it's just as important as a romantic relationship. Not every meaningful relationship in our lives has to be romantic to be worth choosing.

Now, about Evan… I liked him, and I could see that he cared about Izzie. But there were moments when I wanted to shake some courage into that man. 😭 Sir, sometimes caring about someone isn't enough, you also have to be willing to show up and fight for what you want. I just wish he'd tried a little harder.

But here's what I really appreciated about this book: it didn't feel like fiction that exists only to give us a perfect ending. It felt like life. Sometimes things don't unfold the way we hope. Sometimes love isn't enough to make two people right for each other at the right time. And sometimes, choosing yourself means accepting that the future you imagined isn't the future you're going to have.

That doesn't mean the journey was meaningless. I loved the character development, the friendships, and the way the story unfolded. And even though the ending wasn't what I expected, it left me with a sense of peace and satisfaction.

If you enjoy realistic stories about complicated relationships, personal growth, meaningful friendships, and learning to choose yourself, I'd definitely recommend giving Irrelevant Situations a read.

Book mail is the best mail and I now have both books in this series. Danielle Smyth is the sweetest and has quickly become one of my favorite authors to read. If you have not yet read Beautiful Place By The Sea or Any Port In A Storm, you are missing out on an escape to the east coast.

These two books are so immersive, I felt like I was in Maine and in Boston. It left me dreaming of a relocation.

I wish I could rate this book more than five stars!!!

As someone who grew up playing Phasmophobia with my friends this book was absolutely perfect! I was so excited for the ghost hunting with a side of romance. This was the perfect read to get me in the Halloween vibes and I am so excited for October now!

After one traumatic experience in Aubrey's past she is scared to go alone on one particular ghost hunting expedition. I loved that her friends Cooper, Dean, and Maven did not want her to go in alone and were willing to drop their busy schedules to show up for their friend.

Those last ten chapters had me sat, and I could NOT put this book down omg! What an amazing and thrilling read!

The relationship between Aubrey and Dean was so sweet. I admired that Dean wanted to make Aubrey's life easier and was her partner in crime. These two would be great friends to have by ones side! <3

Thank you Emily for such a lovely read I will be recommending this to all my friends!

OH LET ME SAY IT GUYS!! it’s been so long since I read a book so unhinged and so this was the perfect pallet cleanser 🙂‍↕️ they are both crazy and unpredictable!!

their meet cute is the most funny and bizarre thing- she jumps on his yacht running away from her guards and he’s like “wait- this is the first time i’m kinda liking a woman” 😭

Watching him confront his emotions and loving someone for the first time in his life, watching her get out of her shell and become the person she was meant to be was everything.

but i shall tell you… there’s revenge. and that revenge has to be the craziest, most bloody revenge I’ve seen. they STOOD on business too much i got scared- but also so satisfying for the people who have done them wrong ✨

despite it being unhinged. there was so much darkness in the book and both characters suffered through so much in their childhood and adulthood so when I saw them go through all of that and finally have their happily ever after… it was the most satisfying thing ever! I LOVE THEMM.

i want to say so much more but i can’t because the plot is a big part and i don’t want to spoil anything.

brb gonna go and devour vlad’s book now!!

What a nice Autumn read, leaving me feeling like I was sitting at Luke's Diner, enjoying my large cup of coffee, watching the book play out in front of me. Like Gilmore Girls, I would love to visit Maple Brooks.

Then Until Forever is a second chance, small town book about Jax and Avery. The book is told in dual narrative between the 2 main characters.

The characters felt realistic, with imperfections, making Jax and Avery feel more believable. But I did have moments when I was more annoyed and wasn't always cheering for a second chance for these two.

I thought the book was a decent, quick read, but I didn't feel like these were memorable characters, and seemed very predictable in the HEA, leading me to a 3 1/2 star. But I do want to try other books by Mase Evans because I did like her storytelling.

I wish to thank Beyond the Books PR and Mase Evans for the opportunity to read this book, for my honest opinion.

oh i had a blast reading this one!! i had the absolute honour of beta reading see through, and i have a special place in my heart for aubrey and dean!!

now let me talk about the story itself!! i absolutely LOVED the chemistry between dean and aubrey, their change from best friends to lovers was so so good, and i loved how much they loved each other throughout the book! dean was honestly so SO down bad throughout the entire story, it made me smile so much every time i was reading his pov! i also loved the ghost hunting aspect, I’ve actually never read a ghost hunting book before, but this was SO well done! i really loved how we were really in the moment with aubrey and dean as they were ghost hunting, it felt so eerie but in the best way!

overall a perfect novella to read during spooky season!! definitely recommend picking it up!
