Fundamental Exercises like a tricep pushdown are usually going to be a staple and constant in anyone's training arsenal
.
Acquire the basic set up and get really, really good at executing that. Play with different handles and grips if you need to allow you to find what's best for you
.
Then. Get stronger. Keep reps a little higher if you struggle to maintain good form once the weight is creeping up
.
And always remain mindful of what the role and function of your triceps are. If you are swaying and swinging all over whilst doing an isolated movement. Chances are. You're not fully getting the most from that exercise anymore
.
Coupled with pressing movements like a bench press, shoulder press or any pushing variation. Triceps Pushdowns should complement those lifts in getting stronger too
.
Building yourself to be stronger all round is always going to be an absolute necessity. Not just in the gym. But in life as well. But wanting juicy triceps is by far better than the alternative
.

How To "Set Up Your Hack Squat"
.
Some tips and pointers to get the most out of one of the gyms most fantastic pieces of machinery
.
If bigger legs is on your gym to do list. Then these cannot be bypassed under any circumstances
.
Keep reps between a range that allows you to get full depth. Whilst minimizing pain in your knees and potentially ankles here. As your main focus is to get as deep of a stretch into your quadriceps safely
.
If you are prioritizing strength then any rep range would be suitable for that goal here. So long as you can recover session to session
.
If you are prioritizing muscle mass. Then I would choose anything from 5-15 here where it's your quads fatiguing and those being the limiting factor in the exercise. Again. Recovering from session to session
.
How frequently? Twice per week is always a good range to aim for

❤️ What a wonderful day ❤️

Since moving to Nottingham at the start of 2024 I have seen my Dad only twice and that was Christmas eve for almost 5 minutes in passing and my birthday last year

My brother I barely see at all, but roughly once a month at a push
.
Today has been the first time since my birthday last year where we have all been together at the same time
.
It's been a beautiful day and I am always grateful to be able to listen to their stories and updates on life
