One day to the next can feel very different. Especially when you’re emotionally wired. WHERE MY EMOTIONAL DECISION MAKERS AT? 🙋🏻‍♀️😝 Yesterday, I felt spacious, clear and grounded. Today? A little more frantic. A little more distracted. A little more “there’s a lot to do and I want to do all of it now.” No one is immune to this. Not me. Not my clients. Not the leaders and founders I work with. And that’s exactly why self-awareness matters. For me, today’s data points were pretty clear: • Less sleep than usual • A powerful somatic session yesterday with the magical @beyourtotalself • followed by an incredible Acupuncture sesh with @dolanaine • A full diary • A mind trying to sprint ahead of itself 🥴🫠 So instead of pushing through, I’m recalibrating. Pen to paper. Food. Feet on the earth (not the carpet 😝). Time away from screens. A walk. Water. Space. Dog cuddles. Because the goal isn’t to ignore how we’re feeling. The goal is to understand it. To notice when we’re drifting away from ourselves. To recognise when our energy needs tending to. To make decisions from awareness rather than urgency. This is the practice. Not perfection. Not getting it right every time. Just paying attention. I do this work for myself as much as I do it for my clients. And today, this is what that looks like. ❤️‍🔥 Anyone else recalibrating out there? What’s your go-to?

10 years of Room of Ideas 🎈 A journey of creating, connecting, growing, transforming and becoming more aware of what feels right and aligned to me. Over the years, the space evolved into a place for meaningful work, thoughtful gatherings, brand journeys and impactful meetings. Looking back through 10 years of photos, I had to dive quite deep to find images of myself - as I’m usually the one behind the camera. Yet I cherish every single one of these moments. These photos capture some of the many connections, conversations, collaborations and special moments that shaped this journey along the way. ✨ I would love to continue this unfolding journey for the next 10 years - together with you. To celebrate this milestone, I shared a personal interview about the vision behind Room of Ideas, what inspired me to create the space, and what this journey has taught me over the past 10 years. Curious to read? [link in bio & stories] With love, Francis 🤍 #foundersstory #behindthebrand #meetthefounder #brandmatters #femalefounder

A solid foundation for intentional growth - join our community More than ever, it feels essential to spend time offline, be present, and give genuine attention to what truly matters. I believe this is deeply influenced by the environment we work in, our well-being, and the values we live by. Over the last 10 years Room of Ideas has naturally evolved into a new chapter. My intention is to further grow our community of heart-led caretakers, coaches, thoughtful leaders and founders - looking for a serene, shared space, aligned with their work, vision and values. We are now opening up space for consistent 1:1 sessions, a few workspaces, and the entire space can be rented for meaningful workshops or gatherings. Are you looking for a serene and thoughtful space, with room for meaningful work, a heart-led community and shared values?
Does this resonate?
We’d love to hear your story and intentions for being part of our Room community.
You’re welcome to reach out via email at francis@roomofideas.nl

Love,
Francis

Booking for The Creative Spirit is now officially open. This is a one-day, in-person workshop co-created and co-facilitated by Robbert and I, a space to reconnect with the universal energy that moves uniquely through you. It’s not about performance or productivity; it’s about presence, aliveness, and the courage to be fully yourself. We’ve been taught to see creativity as a title or a talent reserved for a few. But to be creative is not to produce or impress. It is to be alive, to listen to what wants to move, to speak, to play, to be seen. Through somatic sensing and systemic work, we’ll explore creativity beyond roles or outcomes. This is about unlocking flow, transforming resistance, and making space for what is real and meaningful. Some moments will be quiet and inward; others shared and alive in the group field. You’ll be invited to slow down, listen, and follow what feels true. Allowing self-expression to take the form it wants to take. We are quietly opening the doors now, trusting that the right people will feel the pull. Only 12 places available. The Creative Spirit Saturday, November 8, 2025 Room of Ideas, Amsterdam €375 (incl. VAT & lunch) If this speaks to you, follow the link in bio to reserve your place.
