my first day as a Laker & my last 💜💛 6 seasons

Working for the Lakers organization has been a complete dream come true. I have accomplished everything and more that I could’ve ever envisioned for myself, all while being surrounded by the most inspiring, hard-working, and caring individuals. This feels like such a massive chapter of not only my career, but of what has made me who I am.

The city of Los Angeles continues to inspire me, and the way that the Lakers family surrounds this city will always warm my heart. I’ve been able to document Lakers history, NBA history, and Los Angeles history.

Once again, I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunity I had to work for and represent this organization for the last six years. I’m so excited for the opportunities ahead, because this experience has taught me so much. I feel like I dreamt for the stars & was able to see them shine in the front row.

Thank you, Lakers Family, for all the incredible moments, stories, & most importantly, photographs 📸🫶🏼💜💛

The age old debate to niche down or to not?!

No matter how many tears we get in the comments we stand 10 toes down on this.

If you’re in a smaller town our advice changes and you’ll have to listen to the full episode on “The 505 Podcast” to hear our take 🪨 🎥

Part 3 of The Greatest Testimonial Series (DC) with @eqlofficial. It was a pleasure to work with the talented @yosquirt and get a look inside his mind. One of our favorite pieces we've made this year!

The biggest difference between an amateur videographer and a professional is knowing what questions to ask before taking the job.

A professional doesn’t jump straight into the creative.

They ask about the budget, the scope, the crew, the deliverables, and what the client is actually trying to accomplish.

Then they break the project down into a clear, line-item estimate so they understand what it will really cost to execute.

Because the discovery call isn’t only about the client vetting you.

You should be vetting them too.

The goal is to understand exactly what they need, how much they’re prepared to invest, and whether the project is actually the right fit for your business.

That’s how you stop guessing, price projects properly, and begin operating like a professional.

Should you niche down as a videographer? YES!

Specialists always make more money than generalists.

Think about it: if you owned a Ferrari, would you take it to a general mechanic or someone who specializes in Ferraris?

The specialist feels like the safer choice, and because they know the nuances of Ferraris, they can charge more.

The same applies to your video business.

When your portfolio and content clearly focus on one type of client, it becomes easier for them to trust that you understand their industry and know how to create what they need.

Niching down doesn’t mean you can’t take other projects.

It just means your marketing should focus on the work you want more of.

You can still be versatile behind the scenes.

But your positioning should be specific.
