20th Anniversary Chairs Virginia and Will McMullen invite you to celebrate two decades of Recipe for Success Foundation at our Delicious Alchemy Banquet on Monday, November 3 at Hope Farms.

“Recipe for Success has always been about more than just food—it’s about transformation. From teaching children to love their vegetables, to providing fresh produce for vulnerable families, to training the next generation of urban farmers, the Foundation’s work ripples out across our community.” — Virginia McMullen, Event Chair

This year’s spectacular celebration honors our founders, Gracie and Bob Cavnar, @graciecavnar @bobcavnar with ten exquisite courses crafted by ten extraordinary chefs, showcasing Houston’s incredible culinary talent. From twilight cocktails in the Chef’s Garden to dinner by candlelight in the @unitedhealthcare Gathering Barn, every moment is designed to delight.

@houstonchron calls it “the ultimate dinner party”—and we can’t wait to gather around the table with you for this milestone year.

Your seat at the table fuels programs that teach, empower, and inspire thousands of children and families toward healthier futures. Let’s raise a glass to the next twenty years of impact! 🥂

“🌱 Plot twist: Every Tuesday can be Giving Tuesday at Recipe for Success Foundation and Hope Farms!

While your inbox may be overflowing today, we’re keeping it simple: $250 plants a seed of change (and gets you a pretty cool Hope Farms cap). Whether you give today or any Tuesday, your support helps us change the way children eat with programs that teach, empower and empower healthy eating, like at Hope Farms where we grow fresh food and cultivate healthy communities.

Your gift creates real impact:
• $500 sends a child to Urban Farmer Summer Camp
• $1,000 provides fresh produce for two families in need
• $2,500 brings healthy food to five families all year

No pressure, no gimmicks – just good people helping good food grow and teaching folks how to eat healthy. Ready to make any Tuesday special? Link in bio to donate.

About Monday night… What an evening it was supporting @r4sfoundation at the Delicious Alchemy fundraiser. I began volunteering my time with this organization as a culinary student over a decade ago, and being on the farm for this event with so many amazing women is something I’ll forever treasure. Biggest thanks to @adpastry for opening her “home” to all of us for the day, and to my little team of @jes_indeed + @chefkhalieb for your hands and hearts!

Thank you for the vision you started out with all those years ago, @graciecavnar. Truly inspiring.

Did you know that you can bring our award-winning Seed-To-Plate Nutrition Education to your school, no matter where you live? Kids who benefit from a full academic year of hands-on learning with our tested, integrated gardening, cooking, and nutrition education curriculum willingly eat more vegetables and are up for trying new foods. It’s a powerful tool to instill lifelong healthy habits in our children. DM us for more details. Or, if you’re in Houston, sign up for an information session on September 3 at Hope Farms.
