dear volleyball, it’s hard to say goodbye to something that’s been such an important part of my life. All though it has not always been the best, it’s always been the most rewarding. It’s hard knowing i’ll never step on the court again but I will always be grateful for what it gave me. Without the sport I would have not met my bestfriend, learned to overcome challenges and become a better person. Thank you volleyball for giving me friends that are now my family, endless laughs and many memories to cherish. Thank you to my family, friends and coaches for supporting me and shaping me into who I am now. Above all thank you to my mom, not only for being an amazing role model but for always showing up for me, supporting me and being my biggest cheerleader. If it weren’t for her I would not achieve these goals and get the opportunities I’ve been given. Although it’s over, volleyball will always be a piece of me.
