Meet Chase Sovchik!

Chase is an incoming junior at Olentangy Orange High School in the Class of 2028. He has continued to develop his game through hard work and dedication and is excited to keep improving throughout his high school career.

One of Chase’s favorite golf memories is shooting a personal-best 68 during a tournament. That accomplishment reflects the time and effort he’s put into his game and is a round he’ll always remember.

Chase is looking to continue his golf career at the collegiate level and is currently uncommitted. He is interested in attending Miami University, Ohio University, Bowling Green State University, or The University of Akron while continuing to compete in golf.

How the week started, developed and ended (slide 4). Don’t know where to begin for this. Quite the week at my first MAC conference championship. Ended the first round with an uno ft. Coach Hudak with a great number and club selection. Shot 6 over finishing T3 all tournament. Can’t thank my team enough, both BGSU coaching, support staff, and my teammates. Most importantly an amazing swing coach and mentor @brandonrobygolf , my family for the support will never go unnoticed, and friends for all the support. Lastly to Jeff Troesch all the work behind the scenes. Thank you to Coach Powers for this opportunity, and taking a chance on a club golfer. - All glory to God for all the opportunities, blessing, lessons, and people in my life. Every day trying to grow for his victory. PSALM 28-7 ANDRIZO
