Fall retreat can’t get rid of us that easily!Another year of fall retreat but this one was different. Not because we aren’t students anymore, but because we got the opportunity to come back as servants, leaders, and friends in Christ and lead students just like we once were. On top of that, we got to witness the movement of Christ that once happened within us at this same retreat throughout the lives of other students in @bh_radiate . Helping students to Christ, being a mentor to them, and serving in ministry is something I will NEVER take for granted. It has brought me my bestfriends, brothers and sister in Christ, gratitude, patience, joy, a second family, and more. I had a feeling I would be back in Ocoee TN after my senior year of High School and boyyyy was I right. Thank you Jesus for this opportunity and hopefully more to come🥹

Every believer has a story, a true testimony of how Jesus has changed their life. Every single hardship and struggle we have endured, with every win we get to celebrate, it is all proof of God’s faithfulness. Your story is not one to keep to yourself but the exact thing a believer or nonbeliever out there in the world needs to hear. Be bold and never give up the opportunity to share what saved your life. Asante sana Kenya, you’ve been so good to me! 🇰🇪🫶

Yesterday, I got the opportunity to serve by washing the feet of children in Kenya. As I washed, I explained that we should strive to be more like Jesus everyday and do everything to Glorify His name. Because Jesus was and is a serving, loving, kind, and humble Lord. This small act of service is only a glimpse into what Jesus did for us. Jesus served others before himself even with knowing He was the Savior of the world. The wave gratitude I feel to be a light for these kids and people in Kenya is UNMATCHED. I will ALWAYS cherish this moment. When I prayed over these kids, I prayed that everyday these kids and myself would keep growing up striving to be more like Jesus everyday. And I will continue to pray this prayer. Jesus NEEDS all the glory. #footwashing #kenya

“Faith expresses itself through love.” — Galatians 5:6

Day 4 of the Kenya Mission began with a focus on serving as Jesus served. The team had the privilege of distributing shoes to children, meeting a practical need while opening doors for meaningful Gospel conversations. Each pair of shoes not only helps protect young feet but also serves as a reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved. Through these interactions, seeds of hope were planted and the love of Christ was shared in tangible ways.

Later in the day, the team took time to appreciate God's creation and enjoy the beauty of Kenya while visiting the giraffe centre. It was a refreshing opportunity to reflect on God's goodness and the relationships being built throughout the mission.

The day concluded with students connecting with their peers through fellowship and outreach. The girls spent time encouraging and building friendships with girls from schools in the Kibera community, while the boys joined students for basketball, soccer, and chess. Through every activity, conversations naturally pointed back to the Gospel, creating opportunities to share the hope found in Christ.

As we reflect on Day 4, our hearts are filled with gratitude to God for all He is doing through these students. We thank Him for every conversation, every act of service, every new friendship, and every opportunity to make Christ known.
