A mother is a daughter's best friend and we daughters somehow love to copy our Moms.. be it applying makeup like her as a 5 year old or try to make those small little 'rotis' in kitchen, or copying her dressing style to learning to tie sarees .. I have shared each and every bit of my life with my Mom.. and have loved all the stuff that she had.. be it her Dogri Jhumkas , Kashmiri shawls and sarees or Benarsi saris and managed to get them somehow ( we daughters know how to have it 😋) .. This Mothers Day, I have tried to recreate my Mom's look.. Thanks for the tag @bhanu_padmini ❤.. I tried to recreate this look with whatever I had here in Australia.. The greatest and loveliest compliment that I get is when people say .. am my Mom's copy .

This Mother's Day we want to pay tribute to this beautiful bond bewteen a mother and her daughter. I had been tagged by @bhanu_padmini to participate in the Mother's day look challenge by @azahcare. I appreciate their seriousness towards menstrual health hygeine and inclusiveness towards the underprivileged.
For me motherhood is about finding a soul who is nurturing, protective, loving yet strong and stricter towards you. She need not be your own mother from own blood. For me, throughout my life whenever I reflect on such qualities only one person comes to my mind. She is non other than my elder sister @swain.tulsi
She has been there for me through the thicks and thins, she believed in me when no one did. She is just not my sibling but my confidant, pillar of support and best friend for life. The bond we share is full of unconditional love and respect towards each other.
So here I am posting my look with winged liner, just the way my sister loves doing.
