@artistsforpeople , what can I say? To start. There were A LOT more photos. And so much more behind the scenes months of work, labor, chaos, and things so outside of my control — it’s what proved: it takes a collective to make something happen. Oof (and woah).

Thank you to so many people, I’m going to cry.

@bhbuck2 @daisysudpt @ez.photo @naturalnormallady and @itsreallyridley for quite literally telling me to chill, and making the production possible.

ALL THE PERFORMERS (dozens, literally can’t fit them here).

Everyone who attended ?? People backstage can attest, I said repeatedly, in shock: WAIT THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE.

Everyone who couldn’t attend but donated. Thank you for giving how you could. 🖤

All the advice, conversations, venting, and beverages supplied along the way. Could not do without y’all. Particularly @mavenmiller guidance, @persi_mey listening, @elohdance care.

May we keep the spirit of community going, even as the world may try otherwise.

Together,
Violet

Donations are still welcome and accepted through Dec 22nd - all funds go to support Gaza Sunbirds and Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative. Link is in my bio 🙏🏼
