RIP #DollyParton
Thank you for your voice, your songs, and you boundless generosity.

Dolly dear dolly
you gave us your songs
you poured out your heart
To make the least of us strong
From a hovel in the Holler
to the bright Opry stage
From precious tattered dresses
To rhinestone brocade

Your voice carries on
Upon the wind
Touching the hearts
Of both enemy and friend
Though you are gone
From this trying world
Nothing will silence
our Tennessee songbird

This new @bhmcband song, “No More Despair” means a whole lot to me (link in the bio to hear more). And making it with this stellar crew has really meant a lot to me. To get to start a new band with some of my favorite people and favorite songwriters is about as much a fella could ask for. We’ve got a pile of songs in the works that I’m so excited to share with everyone. All of the songs came in a rush as we were all very inspired by each others work, and very much needing to respond to all of the chaos that has been overwhelming our hearts and brains as of late. Stay tuned for more @bhmcband tunes coming soon.
@amyhtrinidad @themollybrandt on vocals (don’t miss @themollybrandt new single which comes out next Friday). @ericjuliocarranza on vocals, guitar and mixing/production at @museum.of.being. @drdiamonddavepower aka @whitedune_ on drums. @philosperical and @mjethen on sax and trombone respectively. Music by Dew Line with Art by Eric Mullis and Kelly Cox.

MING Studios Sunday 4-5 pm

Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dew Line is a distinctive suite of songs by Amy Hager and Jacob Mullis of Fort Wilson Riot. The project was conceived and written in response to both the multimedia work Slow Burn—created by Kelly Cox and Eric Mullis—and the recent federal ICE occupation in Minnesota.

Blending elements of psychedelic rock, art pop, and folk, the songs explore themes of hope amid disaster, the challenges of parenting in toxic times, and the search for beauty and community within the surrounding chaos.
