Forever will wear pink🩷

I had the incredible opportunity to direct @curtainsupbu production of Mean Girls the Musical. This is the first musical and full-length show I’ve ever gotten to direct. Directing is my passion, and I couldn’t have asked for a better first go at it. To my absolutely lovely cast, I am so incredibly proud of every single one of you. This was a very difficult show (sorry), but you handled it all with such professionalism and grace. Every single one of you put in so much time and effort, and it’s noticed. To my fellow creatives, this show would not have happened without your support. The talent you all hold is insane, and I can’t even grasp it at times. To the production crew, you are all such lovely people, and built the show to what it was. Without all of your time we wouldn’t have been able to perform no matter how hard we might try. To the pit, it was an absolutely lovely experience getting to hear you play every night. You filled the space with such an aura I can’t describe. To everyone, I love you so dearly. Rehearsals were always my favorite part of the day, and I wish I could do this forever. Until the next show, but for now, the directors cap is coming off.

A semester filled with so much joy and stress, but above it all… so much theater: onstage and backstage. Produced a show? Holding office in CUBU? I’m just so grateful for everyone at Belmont making life worth living.

Thank you for everything Junior Year. I wouldn’t trade these experiences for anything. I’m so happy to have met so many amazing people. I’m so grateful to be heading into my last year at Belmont with my best supporters at my side.

Also, I’m serving as @curtainsupbu treasurer next year and I can’t wait to lead with my wonderful execs (who put me in charge).
