It's that time again when the @djmagofficial top 100 comes out and the debate rages about who should be on it, who's been criminally omitted, who shouldn't be on it, should David Guetta be no.1 for the hundredth time blah blah blah. Too add to this, the Instagram channel @the.dancefloor.diaries did their own alternative list. *both lists are voted by public not the outlets themselves What isn't being discussed as much as it should is the continued lack of female representation on the list. I could reel off a long list of amazing female DJs (also well-known) who deserve to get a look in - many who have featured on this podcast. Here's a few to check out: @elifmusique @carinalawrence @skalared @magic.made.by.r @redfreyadj @asch.pintura @rebecca_gough11 @bibiminor_ @dashadj_ @selenlogue @meltemyazar___ @_____f_a_e_____ Let me know your thoughts or tag your favourite female DJs in the comments below 👇

🚨 POLAR DISCO X RADIAL 🚨 We’re taking over @radial.london for our first proper Polar Disco day-to-night session — bringing together a crew of DJs from Ireland, London & Bloop Radio for 9 hours of house, tech, minimal and everything in between. Deeeep, sleazy, hypnotic, melodic, tribal, experimental, cosmic, bouncy, spacey, atmospheric, groovy, tropical, synthy, dark, chuggy — name it, we have it. An array of diversity delivering the finest, hottest selections on a seriously iconic, custom-built 10-point soundsystem. Developed by the team behind Ten87 Studios, Radial has been on our radar for a while — one of London’s most exciting underground spaces, tastefully done and rooted in community and culture, right in the heart of Tottenham. Over the past year we’ve been taking Polar Disco overseas — from Ibiza and Zagreb to Lisbon, Madrid, San Sebastián and beyond — and we’ve found that Polar Disco really comes alive abroad. So, this autumn, we’re bringing the Polar Express to London. A pre-Halloween treat. A Sunday mass. An October bank holiday  feast of sound and energy, surrounded by strangers and friends. 🍁🍂🎃🍬🍭 This feels like the beginning of another chapter for Polar Disco — what started as a radio show has grown into a B2B DJ project, then a booking agency, and now our own events, collaborations and parties. It’s all happening. Come early. Dance all day. Food onsite. Home before midnight. It’s a no-brainer. LINE-UP: @nancythewilde @mitchpresents @_niallkelly_ @manniooooo @portamentouk @bentley.spins @bibiminor_ 📅 Sunday 25 October ⏰ 14:00 — 23:00 📍 Radial, London 🎟️ Tickets £8.10 via RA — limited capacity. See you on the dancefloor 🪩
