POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Sure, sharing some of our art, and even a little of our lives, here on IG, is a mere snippet of our selves. There are volumes unknown of each other. I have no doubt, however, that the kindness Abhinav shared with me, and the enthusiasm for art he gave to others, is among the brightness he likely carried into other realms of his life, too. As it's been said before about @pencils4tea - we show up to create portraits, but the community is the glue. @kirsty.a.lockhart thank you for making space to honor @abhinavmoon yesterday. May we carry a touch of his effervescence with us.

(Regretfully, I missed the start, I've added a previous sketch of Abhinav to the carousel. Apologies to the sitters I've missed or mangled.)

Speed sketching with @pencils4tea to a Christmassy playlist.
Thanks to @kirsty.a.lockhart for hosting and the lovely gesture painting @abhinavmoon to his choice of music (Masakali by Mohit Chauhan)

1-5 minutes per pose, with fountain pens and ink wash.

Lovely @pencils4tea today. Thank you Kirsty for hosting and allowing us to remember Abhinav in a special way ❤️.

Thank you to everyone who posed. Today I started with a graphite stick and then tried to add color, but was out of time on many just as I started with the watercolors.

Let’s draw together today and every Tuesday. This month I’m focusing on simplicity so that’s the theme for today. Sketches between 30s and 6 minutes!

There’s sessions are a wonderful opportunity to practice simplification, or anything you’ve been wanting to explore with your drawing practice.

Tuesday Zooms 6€ or pay what you want/can. Join us via zoom 19:30 German time 1:30 eastern for another fun sketch session. We usually come up with an incredibly random storyline to guide our poses. ✍️⏰

Let’s draw together today and every Tuesday. Todays theme: grocery store encounters.

I’ve been wondering a lot about how we digest inspiring experiences. The conversations, encounters, visual input, art and potentials arising from all these things. Let’s chat about that while we sketch each other!

Sometimes after @pencils4tea i want to work over the speedsketch because i feel there is more in a pose than i can draw in just 2or3 minutes. This is one of them, thank you @murielhamon for your difficult but inspiring pose, your head and hair really moved me ❤

Yay for @pencils4tea, it makes the week lovely. Was a little all over the place with materials today. Pentel brush pen, magic pencils, watercolor, and stabilo woodys. Thanks to @kirsty.a.lockhart and thanks (and sorry) to all who posed. If I tagged the wrong people, or missed tagging you, please let me know!
